When I last left Death Rabbits, I was a bit turned off from the sound of more metal idols. But, I’m finding with “Desuma Spring” some level ground with the group. The metal seems to have faded to the background, and the girls are sounding more confident than what my recollections tell me. The promotional video for “Desuma Spring” may be a collection of chroma key scenes, but even here the girls bring a bit of magic to the screen. Bucho makes a quick appearance parodying everyone’s favorite orange-faced president, but “Desuma Spring” earns its keep with the charm of the three girls- which is as it should be. “Desuma Spring ~Sorosoro Keigo wo Tsukattemimasenka~” marches its way to stores on May 24, 2017.
