In preparation for their 15 year best album “Perfume The Best ‘P Cubed'”, A-chan, KASHIYUKI, and NOCCHI release the lyric PV for their new song “Nanananairo (ナナナナナイロ)”. Taking a cab around the night markets of Taiwan, the girls arrive at a food market. Soon the girls arrive at a river for some cooling bask time, and then it’s back to the city for a lantern festival. If all if these scenes seem familiar, it’s because they are lifted from a series of commercials for Kracie’s “Hadabisei” sheet masks. The images are gorgeously shot, and if this is all there will be for “Nanananairo” then at least it looks pretty. But, it seems like there might be, hopefully will be a more complete version promotional video to the song. You can find “Nanananairo” on Perfume’s upcoming best album due on September 18, 2019.
Perfume (パフューム Pafyūmu) is a Japanese pop girl group from Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, consisting of Omoto Ayano (大本 彩乃, “Nocchi”), Kashino Yuka (樫野 有香, “KASHIYUKA”) and Nishiwaki Ayaka ( 西脇 綾香, “a-chan”). In 2000, original members Ayaka , Yuka , and Yuka Kawashima voluntarily formed the group inside young talent academy Actors School Hiroshima (ASH) run by TSS Production, a subsidiary of TSS-TV Co., Ltd., formerly called Shinhiroshima Telecasting. Because the members had the same Japanese kanji character for 香 (ka / kaori fragrance) in their given names, they named the group “Perfume” (香水 (kosui) in Japanese). The group has been signed with Amuse, Inc. since 2003 and with Universal Music Group since 2012. The group was formed in early 2000 inside the young talent academy Actors School Hiroshima and debuted with their first Hiroshima-local single “Omajinai Perori” released on March 21, 2002. A year later they moved to Tokyo, started to work with Capsule’s producer Yasutaka Nakata. In 2012 the group announced that they had signed a global contract with Universal Music Group, and that they expected to expand their horizons and “go global.”
