Coming out with their latest single on August 25, Sayaka and Kokoro (a.k.a. Yes Happy!) pop the question with “Are You Happy?” In bright dresses, the two girls take a trip through the city (do you recognize where they are?), stopping to sing to us along the way. “Are You Happy?” provides a quickly paced band arrangement for Sayaka and Kokoro’s harmonies. I enjoyed listening to the interaction of the guitars on this track. Of course I always enjoy listening to the lively voices of Yes Happy! Things end up on the seaside where the girls look across the water. Yes Happy!’s fifth single “Are You Happy?” goes on sale August 25, 2019.
Yes Happy! is a Japanese pop duo formerly managed by UP-FRONT KANSAI. It was formed in 2008, but became active in 2011 when the unit was added to UP-FRONT KANSAI. The group consists of Sayaka (さやか), the leader, and Kokoro (こころ), the sub-leader. Together they perform most commonly in shopping centers and live halls in the Kansai area.
