With “Wasurete Ageru”, Angerme have played their full hand for their 22nd single release. In many ways, the song feels like a bit of a flashback to Hello! Project history with its strong string accompaniment and mishmash of sounds (sitar anyone?). Visually, the girls deliver the emotional lyrics through mirrors strewn on a carpeted floor and a dance shot in a room that looks eerily like my apartment during my college days. The neatly ordered dance set contrasts with the haphazardly decorated floor scenes to presumably symbolize a pristine countenance that hides an emotional being filled with disorder. “Umaku Ienai / Ai no Tame Kyou Made Shinkashite Kita Ningen, Ai no Tame Subete Taikashita Ningen / Wasurete Ageru” is set for release on October 19, 2016.
