Maison Book Girl’s 1st major single receives a promotional video with the release of “Cloud Irony”. MBG famously (by now) mixes odd time signatures into otherwise pop songs, and you’ll find more of that trend with this release. I wouldn’t be writing home about this tendency if the group didn’t make things sound as natural. “Cloudy Irony” presents a sleek blue future world where the sky is (naturally) clouded over. The hue of the PV might distract some viewers, but I think its wholly appropriate given the product. You can buy “Cloudy Irony” starting on November 11, 2016.
